when flipping through my albums, I sometimes see scrapbooking layouts I do not like anymore…even more, I find very ugly. Still, I could not throw it away either…at least I thought I couldn’t when I found it. That was around the time when I heard that Suse Fish often takes off her layouts and recycles the pieces. I already had written about this in my post about Suse. My “ugly” layout was laying around quite a while. I knew, I will take it off and re-scrap the photo at some point of time…I just was lacking an idea for the remake…and after a little while, I created this scrapbooking layout:
Guess you are interested in how it looked like before. One or the other might prefer the “before-version”…everyone has a different taste. For me, the orange background was to prominent, pushing the photo to much into the background. And the kraft-colored leaves dim the colors of the photo.
I like how the colors of the photo come out on the new version of my scrapbooking layout, which are emphasized by the stripes on the left side.
Did you also find a scrapbooking layout which you don’t like anymore? What did you do with it?
