I guess this is the most minimalist travel album I ever made. That might sound as if I did not like to make…well, I would say it just happened to be like that.
The material was laying around already a little while: I wanted to use a 4×4 album with page protectors and some ephemera packs from the notes & things collection of crate paper. I know, this collection is already a bit old…now you have an idea of how long this project is on my to-do-list already.
At the beginning I had some difficulties with the small format and the decoration, though I had made some other small mini albums, e.g. my Japan travel journal and my camera mini album. I printed the photos in a larger size, in order to make them stand out. Further, I did write only a minimalistic journaling. My husband wrote a travel journal during the trip, hence, I do not need to duplicate it here.
In the end I really like my minimalistic album, the photos are emphasized and the pages are not completely empty. In case you like to see more of it, I have made a short video where I flip through the whole album:
